The Infinite Love of God

“Behold the infinite love of God to mankind and the love of Jesus Christ that, rather than God see the children of men to perish eternally, He would send His Son to take our nature upon Him and thus suffer such dreadful things.  Herein God shows His love….It pleased the Father to break His Son and to pour out His blood.  Here is the love of God and of Jesus Christ.  Oh, what a powerful, mighty, drawing, efficacious meditation this should be to us.” – Jeremiah Burroughs

Andrew, are you posting sermons too or just quotes?

Um, once I become Pastor (Lord-willing) I might start posting sermon outlines. I haven’t thought of posting sermons online. Doesn’t that cost money?

Yes. About $30 a year through Podbean. I though Tchula extended a call?

Ah. Well, just a few weeks then! I’m going to think of some devastatingly difficult thing to ask you from the floor. :p

No you won’t. That would be contrary to your responsibilities as a Presbyter of God. You are to strive after the peace and purity of the Church not the utter absurd. :)
